Current Projects
- Transitioning to Public Wiki
- Determine and implement better universal method of user management
- Currently pursuing possibility of an LDAP server
- Research and test possible new project management systems
- Current system in use is Project Pier
- Collaboration
- Teach members of committees (or at least committee chairs) how to use the new CMS to update content on website
- Emphasize importance of using wiki and Google Apps for collaboration from this point forward
- Make sure everyone has resources and knowledge needed to accomplish this

- Research, test and implement content management system (CMS) for main website
- MODx determined as best CMS that allowed for keeping current website template
- Research, test and implement free easy-to-use mailing list for announcements
- PHPList determined as best option - easily manageable for one-way communications/announcements
- Google Apps determined as best option for two-way mailing lists
- Research and implement Facebook connect on our blog in order to publicize it on Facebook
- Found easy-to-use plugin called WPBook...well developed and useful
- Integrate wiki and forum user databases
- Blog had also been integrated, but that integration was determined to be unstable (LDAP possible alternative)
