Executive Council
The Executive Council manages and guides the other committees to maintain the original vision of the Drexel Smart House. It consists of the Chairs of the Research, Finances, Facilities, Communications, and Information Management in addition to staff to conduct operations-specific tasks.

Communications Committee
The Communications group is responsible for promoting Drexel Smart House to the people both in and outside of the university. Additionally, the group is responsible for event planning and will handle all media relations.
Design Committee
The Design Committee provides the necessary support for the organization's various multi-disciplinary design teams working on all scales, from innovative product design to the planning and design for each of Drexel Smart House's properties.
Finances Committee
The Finances Committee secures and distributes funding for general operation of the organization. In particular, the Finances Committee manages our budgets, seeks grants, and coordinates with sponsors and the University to obtain funding. Secondary components are outreach and SAFAC (Student Activity Fee Allocation Committee) budgets.
Informatics Committee
The Informatics Committee manages the servers, networks, websites (including blogs, wiki, forums, etc) and other technology on which the
Drexel Smart House ticks.
Research Committee
The research and development committee is responsible for developing and implementing the innovative and/or sustainable technology to be commercialized by Drexel Smart House students. Additionally, the group will implement and integrate existing technologies provided by sponsors in the house.
