1 ~ Bill of Materials
Wall Panels: 4 Wood and 4 Plastic panels will be ordered from Plascore. The price for this is about $4400 with a 3-5 week turnaround.
A detailed bill of materials must be put together including information such as (Dimension, Source, Quotes, What needs to be machined.)
2 ~ Miscellaneous
GBA gave us an extension until February
Weight should be commented on the final report
The Column dimensions will be changed to 4" x 2.5" (previously 4" x 2.25") because Aluminum tubes come in increments of .5"
There is a one month turn around for the test frame to be built in Dr. Wen's lab.
Design alternative - Ceiling Lock: If lever system needs to be custom made, a screw type of system can be used as well.
Action Items
1 ~ Complete the Bill of Materials (Draft). Due Thursday 9.24. (Adrian, Prash, Jared)
Model all of the parts in AutoCAD with all necessary views. Due 9.24 (Jared)
Finalize the design of the Cross-beam/Column connection mechanism. (Sam)
